Requirements
  • Ph.D. in physics or a related field, or 4 years of equivalent experience in spectroscopic methods
  • Demonstrated expertise in techniques using atomic spectroscopy to characterize plasma
  • Experience quantifying impurities in keV plasmas through x-ray spectroscopy
  • Understanding of advanced spectroscopic techniques such as recombination spectroscopy
Responsibilities
  • We are looking for support to help us change the world with a new source of clean energy. You will partner with trusted experts in the field to characterize different plasma parameters, including electron/ion temperature, and plasma impurities. You will run current optical diagnostics and spearhead the development of new, more advanced spectroscopic methods. You will report directly to our Director of Research at our Everett, WA office
