Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Currently a Licensed Reactor Operator or Licensed Senior Reactor Operator with one or more years of experience in the position
  • Previously a Licensed Reactor Operator or Licensed Senior Reactor Operator at a commercial reactor with at least 1.5 years of experience in the position
  • Qualified Reactor Operator (RO), Engineering Watch Supervisor (EWS), Propulsion Plant Watch Supervisor (PPWS), or Engineering Officer of the Watch (EOOW) on a military reactor for a minimum of 2 years
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related sciences with a minimum of 1.5 years of nuclear power plant experience
  • Previously Certified Senior Reactor Operator at another site or currently Certified Senior Reactor Operator at Callaway with at least 2 years of experience in the position
Responsibilities
  • Administer initial and continuing training programs including classroom, laboratory, and simulator instruction; preparation, administration and grading of examinations; evaluation of trainee performance, and scheduling and coordinating training course presentations
  • Implement effective analysis, design and development of training materials in accordance with the Systematic Approach to Training process
  • Develop, administer and maintain Job and Task Analyses
  • Maintain training records and documentation
  • Reinforce management expectations during training activities including nuclear and personnel safety, human performance error reduction techniques, and ALARA principles
  • Develop and use effective training techniques to deliver training and maximize student learning
  • Participate in Training Oversight Committees (TOC)
  • Facilitate meaningful student feedback and modify training materials as appropriate
  • Supervise the activities and conduct of the trainees during periods of training. Provide coaching and counseling to students when academic or behavioral problems arise
  • Maintain training facilities consistent with standards of excellence for housekeeping and material condition
  • Provide effective support during Refuel outages and effectively fulfill duties of the assigned radiological emergency response position
  • Participate in training programs and plant activities to maintain required licenses, certifications and qualifications

The transaction is expected to close on March 7, 2025, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.Ameren intends to use the net proceeds of the offering for general corporate purposes, including to repay a portion of its short-term debt.Barclays Capital Inc., J.P. The revision to Ameren Missouri's Preferred Resource Plan in its Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) is designed to provide for 1.5 gigawatts (GW) of expected new energy demand by 2032, with a balanced mix of generation resources to deliver reliable, affordable and cleaner energy for all customers.Building off the success of bringing in nearly two dozen new economic development projects in 2024, Ameren Missouri has construction agreements with potential large load customers for new energy demand."These agreements are an initial step," said Mark Birk, chairman and president of Ameren Missouri.
