Steadily is hiring a Customer Support Specialist who is the very best at what they do. Our Client Experience team’s core mandate is to deliver world-class, end-to-end experiences for our customers that drive brand loyalty and retention. You’ll be a part of delivering on that mandate.
As a Customer Support Specialist on the CX team, you will:
Respond to high volume of inbound calls and email requests from insureds, lenders, and carriers to address servicing requests for active policies.
Handle any servicing requests that do not require a license to handle; e.g. billing inquiries, requests for policy documents, and non-premium bearing endorsements (policy changes).
Process requests across the 15+ insurance carrier systems we work with and maintain updated records in our agency management system (Salesforce).
Perform clerical and administrative tasks related to policy servicing, as needed.
Your Background
Customer Service: You have direct experience working in a customer-facing role and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Tech Savvy: You have above average technical skills; learning to navigate new systems and tools is easy for you.
Hungry: You want to make the leap into an earlier-stage tech company to rapidly accelerate your growth. You want to roll up your sleeves and hustle. You’re willing to do what it takes to achieve your goals and excel.
Solution Oriented: You don’t need explicit instructions to figure out a problem; you’re a problem solver and you won’t stop until you’ve found a solution and resolved an issue.
Self-Driven: You thrive under pressure and can manage a large workload with minimal oversight. There is no task too small or beneath you; “that’s not my job” is never your mantra.
Licensing
A Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license is not required to apply, but will be required within 60 days of your start date.
We will guide you in preparation for the P&C exam in your resident state (Kansas or Missouri) in order to obtain your resident license. You will follow a self-paced online course and must pass the exam within 2 months of hire to grow within the organization.
Compensation and Benefits
Highest salary in KC Metro
Salary: $65,000 per year ($31.25 / hour)

Our Customer Support team is available Mon - Fri 7am - 7pm CT; your schedule will fall between those hours (e.g. 7am - 4pm or 10am - 7pm).
