  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Master’s degree (Accountancy or MBA) and/or CPA preferred
  • Proven experience in accounting practices
  • Proven Experience in Manufacturing Cost Accounting (Standard Cost preferred)
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office programs, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Familiar with electronic accounting systems, preferably JD Edwards Enterprise One
  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Act as a Business Partner and Strategic Thought Partner
  • Partner with Sourcing, Regulatory, Commercial & Manufacturing Teams
  • Facilitate Strategic Investment Trade-off Discussions
  • Manage the Cost Accounting Group
  • Supervise Standard Cost Elements
  • Oversee Annual Cost Roll
  • Assess Standard Costs
  • Oversee Annual Inventory Physical Count
  • Report on Slow-Moving Inventory
  • Maintain Integrity of General Ledger Accounts
  • Review Financial Information for External Auditors
  • Ensure a Strong Control Environment
  • Lead and Coordinate Audit Activities Related to Inventories and COGS
  • Define Costing System Methodology
  • Conduct Financial Analysis related to COGS
  • Develop and Implement Cost Control Strategies
  • Collaborate on Budgeting and Forecasting
