Requirements
  • At least 1 year of dental experience is required.
  • Experience in the dental or medical field with scheduling and insurance verification is preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Outgoing, friendly, and professional personality with customer service and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products and dental software, with the ability to learn new programs.
Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls using proper telephone etiquette and respond to inquiries from potential patients.
  • Greet and schedule patients, collect co-payments, present treatment plans, and serve as an advocate and educator for dental care planning.
  • Assist patients in prioritizing treatment and establishing scheduling and payment plans for dental services.
  • Present and obtain acceptance of cases, including chair-side treatment planning.
  • Conduct treatment-plan consultations with new and existing patients to address concerns and answer questions.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm new-patient appointments while maintaining appointment opportunities, full schedules, and office schedule flow.
  • Work to ensure schedules meet production goals and develop reports on production goals.
