Requirements
  • Possession of a law degree from a recognised educational institution.
  • Possession of a doctoral or master’s qualification of equivalent accreditation and standing and/or significant progress towards completion of a master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant discipline or field.
  • Experience in university teaching in an undergraduate or postgraduate medical or medical science program is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster an outstanding student experience and encourage active participation and engagement in learning and teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs facilitating high quality, student-centred learning activities.
Responsibilities
  • Contribute towards teaching in the medical program, with a focus in the areas of law, ethics and professional practice.
  • Make informed contributions to the teaching effort of the School.
  • Carry out activities to maintain and develop scholarly, and/or professional activities relevant to the medicine discipline.
  • Perform the full academic responsibilities and related administration in support of the development, coordination and delivery of courses in the Doctor of Medicine program.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in university teaching in an undergraduate or postgraduate medical or medical science program is highly desirable.
