As part of our freshly launched AI division at Nelly, where you'll be one of the pioneers shaping our future in AI. In a small, agile team, you'll work on developing cutting-edge AI systems and robust data pipelines—from rapid prototypes to scalable production solutions. Joining us, you will
- Design and implement modern data-pipelines, orchestrating data-assets for our AI-solutions - from experimental prototypes to production-ready platforms.
- Design, build, and deploy agentic systems into production by leveraging cutting-edge AI advancements, including RAG, ReAct and Knowledge Graphs, to develop effective solutions.
- Evaluate, select, and integrate AI tools, frameworks, and platforms to ensure scalability, efficiency, and compliance.
- Embrace a fast-paced, agile environment where outcome and quick progress is achieved through experimentation and rapid iteration.
- Support user interviews, contribute to product planning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive impactful projects.
What you'll bring
- At least 5 years as a software engineer, with 2+ years in AI, machine learning, and data engineering.
- Experience with modern data workflow orchestration frameworks such as Dagster, Airflow, or Prefect, with emphasis on dependency-aware pipelines.
- Experience with cloud native development, ideally AWS.
- Deep experience in Python and relevant frameworks such as pandas.
- Strong applied ML fundamentals alongside theoretical experience.
- A self-motivated and creative problem-solver with a passion for pushing the boundaries of AI in healthcare and fintech.
- A proactive and independent work ethic, balanced with strong team collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in English, Fluent German is a big plus.
