Requirements
  • Attorney with several years of relevant experience post-qualification
  • Relevant tech sector in-house legal experience
  • Experience negotiating with customers in Benelux and Nordic regions in addition to the UK desirable
  • Understanding of cloud services, technology and professional services contracts
  • High-level negotiation and legal drafting skills
  • Solid knowledge of business process gained in-house relating to commercial, contract, intellectual property, and data privacy law
  • Experience managing workload in a high-pressure environment with competing demands
  • In addition, you should have a desire to be part of a dynamic legal team supporting the recognised leader in processing big data in the cloud
Responsibilities
  • Draft and negotiate complex, non-standard agreements
  • Advise and help train sales teams on deal process and contract management
  • Understand product, data security, and privacy process issues to guide the sales team during negotiations, and in many other contexts
  • Help with standardisation of documentation across multiple jurisdictions
  • Understand Databricks' internal structures, product offerings, technology, security/data protection systems and policies to give you a foundation for providing support across all lines of business
  • Provide general legal support across all areas of the business
