Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 7+ years of professional work experience ideally including prior experience in Applications, Sales, Global Marketing, or R&D.
  • Floor finish industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent Project Management Skills with a focus on driving execution and results.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and gain cross-functional alignment on product portfolio strategies, development of multigenerational product plans, and business cases to support capital investments in the product line.
  • Develop a 3-5-year product strategy that drives profitable growth (price, vol, mix).
  • Communicate business performance of the product line and establish analysis to action objectives to improve or accelerate growth trajectory (Rev, GP%, GP$).
  • Establish KPI’s and track product profitability and margin improvement linked to strategic objectives.
  • Responsible for identifying the critical capital (CAPEX) investments needed to drive growth and generates the resulting business cases.
  • Identifies new market and customer segments, then develop and execute plans to generate growth in those segments.
  • Manage the product portfolio roadmap (Multi-Generational Product Plan) to ensure a great fit remains between customer needs, internal capabilities, and growth and profit.
  • Identify new product pipeline opportunities and prioritize/select which items to add to the portfolio working collaboratively with Applications, Field Sales and Global Marketing Managers.
  • Oversee and work collaboratively and cross-functionally with Planning, Supply Chain, and Operations on supply chain programs.
  • Interact seamlessly with external customers and internal sales, marketing, business development, R&D technology, supply chain, manufacturing, product stewardship, quality, and other functions.
  • Lead monthly product reporting, Quarterly product business reviews, yearly strategy, and business planning activities for product line.
  • Provide sound leadership & direction to direct reports that develops an engaged, high performing team and a safe, inclusive, effective culture.
  • Assume leadership of special projects and other responsibilities as they arise.
