Requirements
  • You are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, economics, business law, or a comparable economics-related program.
  • You have relevant practical experience, ideally an internship at Vogel or prior working-student experience in tax consulting or auditing.
  • Candidates with substantial tax experience outside the stated profile, including trained tax clerks studying part-time or law students specializing in tax law with initial practical experience, are welcome.
  • You have a strong interest in the technical depth of tax consulting and do not view it as a temporary transition to another career.
  • You work accurately and systematically under deadline pressure, including non-negotiable client deadlines.
  • You communicate clearly and reliably in writing and in client discussions and are willing to address topics you do not yet fully master.
  • You use artificial intelligence as a standard tool for research, drafting, and analysis.
  • You are prepared to work independently on client matters and continue learning daily.
Responsibilities
  • Independently contribute to commercial monthly and annual financial statements for medium-sized corporations and partnerships.
  • Prepare tax returns for corporations and partnerships.
  • Support ongoing tax and business consulting through technical clarifications, preparation of advisory meetings, participation in tax audits, and participation in appeal proceedings.
  • Contribute to advisory work involving structuring, reorganizations, and succession planning.
  • Handle private tax matters for entrepreneur families.
  • Work independently with the company's tax technology environment.
  • Use artificial intelligence tools for research, drafting, and analysis.
  • Contribute ideas to internal digitalization and automation initiatives.
  • Prepare research and preliminary work for Associates and the Tax Manager, including independent preparation, initial technical review, and escalation of exceptional matters.
  • Actively participate in initial client discussions, including note-taking, preparation, and follow-up.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous internship or working-student experience in tax consulting or auditing.
  • Study toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, economics, business law, or a comparable economics-related program.
