We are seeking an entry level IT Support Technician to join our team. This position provides technical support and assistance to our internal users resolving IT-related issues.

Responsibilities:

• Create a care culture.

• Create a positive experience for customers and team members.

• Provide front-line desktop support for employees via remote desktop support, phone, and in-person.

• Track and document work in web-based help desk system.

• Maintain and update information in IT administrative systems.

• Maintain documentation of hardware and software changes and revisions.

• Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.

• Set up new workstations as needed.

• Set up mobile devices as needed.

• Train end users to maximize use of company’s software applications.

• Collaborate with managed IT service partners to escalate issues for resolution, as necessary.

• Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk.

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming concerns and issues related to systems, software, and hardware.

• Adhere to company policy and internal procedures, including entry of tickets to enhance our ability to determine patterns and issues to be addressed.

• Work through the problem-solving process with customers, empowering them to do the same in the future.

• Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.

• Report significant and recurring issues to the higher tier support team and IT department leadership.

• Notify the IT department leadership of any technology issues or concerns.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Help Desk Technician or other customer service role.

• Degree preferred in IT, Computer Science, related field or relevant experience.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer/technical issues.

• A foundational level of verbal and written interpersonal communication skills and professionalism to collaborate cross-functionally.

• Keen attention to detail, memory of patterns, and interest in problem-solving.

• Good organization and personal time management skills with flexibility to perform in an ever-changing work environment, working on-call as necessary.

• Working knowledge of office and reporting applications (MS Office Suite, Visio (preferred), SSMS and associated tools, etc.).

Physical Requirements:

• Manual dexterity and good visual acuity to operate various business machines including calculator and computer.

• Ability to travel (limited) to satellite locations.

• Concentrate for long periods of time to read, interpret, and compute figures as well as draft

correspondence.

• Visual acuity to read paperwork and computer monitors.

• Communicate with coworkers, suppliers, vendors, customers, and visitors in a respectful, polite, and friendly manner while being dedicated to independent audit principles, personal integrity and loyalty to supervisors and Company.

• Regularly spend hours sitting and using office equipment and computers (at least 50% of the time).

• Mobility required to attend meetings throughout the organization and provide on-site support as

needed.

• Regularly communicate verbal and written messages with others.

• Occasionally work in spaces that require bending, stooping, and functioning in close spaces.

• Occasionally lift 10-20+ pounds.

• Willing to continue training for personal growth as well as participate in the training of new employees.

• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and ensure Company compliance.

• Proactively address all business issues and or concerns.

• Always maintain a professional image by wearing company approved apparel.

• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

• Willing to work hours outside of a normal work schedule, as needed.
