Requirements
  • 3+ years of supply chain/demand planning or financial planning/modeling experience
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Previous experience mentoring, developing, and training buyers preferred
  • Expert-Level proficiency with Microsoft Excel and proficiency in all other Microsoft applications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in coding/consolidation of large data sets into useful reporting is a plus
  • Some amount of cannabis industry experience and/or experience working in CPG, FMCG, Beverage Alcohol, Major Retailer is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
  • Develop accurate demand forecasts with analysis of historical data, market trends, stakeholder input and insights from cross-functional discussions
  • Build rolling, forward-looking demand forecasts with an end-to-end mindset
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and improve metrics to bridge gaps between forecast and actuals
  • Synchronize Supply & Demand
  • Review and challenge monthly/weekly production, inventory deployment and capacity plans
  • Contribute to achieving On-Time product innovation launches and improvement in COGS
  • Support New Product Planning & Lifecycle Planning
  • Communicate financial results, forecasts and action plans to management and cross-functional team on a weekly basis
  • Active participation in Sales & Operation Planning meetings
  • Develop and evaluate promotional activities
  • Support change management initiatives involving demand planning
  • Subject matter expert in tools, reporting and business processes
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 25% travel throughout the region, weekly travel to local stores
