Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a roadmap for Hivemind Pilot that provides world-class autonomy across air, sea, land, and space domains in collaboration with engineering leadership.
  • Create and oversee solutions to some of the world's most challenging autonomy problems, including multi-agent teaming, resilience to communications and GPS/GNSS jamming, inertial and visual state estimation, multi-modal and multi-hypothesis object tracking, and many more.
  • Interface directly with customers to understand their goals, needs, and priorities with respect to autonomy.
  • Develop product requirements based on deep understanding of customer needs.
  • Be an expert user and evangelist for your product.
  • Ensure the Hivemind Pilot product has world-class capabilities, extensibility, quality, and documentation.
  • Understand the business and technical landscape that affects your product.
Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or MBA
  • 3+ years of experience as a software engineer or similar development experience
  • Experience developing and shipping real-world autonomous robots
  • Experience developing and shipping a developer-oriented product or platform
  • Experience in highly technical customer facing roles
  • Expertise in modern C++ and algorithmic development for autonomous perception, cognition, and action
  • Expert user of robotics frameworks such as ROS/ROS2, NVidia ISAAC, or similar
  • Experience with unmanned air systems
  • Experience with airworthiness, functional safety, or cybersecurity
