Requirements
  • You have 6–9 years of product marketing experience, ideally in business-to-business software, software as a service, human resources technology, learning and development, coaching, employee experience, or another complex category.
  • You have led launches, built messaging from scratch, supported sales-led go-to-market motions, and operated independently and quickly across strategy and execution.
  • You can turn complex product capabilities, coaching methodology, buyer needs, and artificial intelligence concepts into messaging that is simple, credible, and compelling.
  • You can adapt a story for different audiences without losing the core narrative.
  • You have a demonstrated track record of working cross-functionally and externally.
  • You use qualitative and quantitative insight to make better decisions and understand how customers think, where they get stuck, what helps them see value, and how product marketing can improve the full customer journey.
  • You can work cross-functionally and across leadership levels, drive alignment without a perfect process, and stay close to details in a fast-moving environment.
  • You are thoughtful about artificial intelligence, excited about its possibilities, and grounded about where human judgment, trust, and connection remain irreplaceable.
  • You can navigate ambiguity, manage up effectively, ask for support, move quickly, and build systems as needed in an early-stage company.
  • You are comfortable working closely with the Co-CEO and operating as both a strategist and an executor.
Responsibilities
  • Define positioning and messaging for Mento’s artificial-intelligence-powered coaching platform, connecting its coaching philosophy, artificial-intelligence capabilities, customer outcomes, and market differentiation.
  • Own launch planning for new product capabilities from strategy through execution, including messaging, internal readiness, customer education, external communications, enablement, and post-launch engagement.
  • Partner with Coaching to translate Mento’s methodology, member experience, and customer outcomes into use cases, proof points, customer-facing materials, and narratives.
  • Create decks, talk tracks, one-pagers, frequently asked questions, objection handling, demo narratives, competitive positioning, and enablement materials for Sales, Customer Success, Account Management, and Coaching.
  • Create use-case guides, return-on-investment narratives, lifecycle messaging, customer proof, and “why now” stories that support engagement, renewal, and expansion.
  • Synthesize customer conversations, field feedback, usage data, win/loss insights, and competitive signals to refine positioning, identify adoption barriers, influence roadmap conversations, and sharpen go-to-market and product strategy.
  • Set the audience, narrative, and strategic direction for product-related content and campaigns.
  • Own core messaging and source material, including product narratives, launch messaging, customer stories, and use-case content, and partner with Growth across landing pages, campaigns, webinars, customer communications, and other channels.
  • Create operating rhythms, templates, and processes that help Mento launch, learn, and communicate more effectively as it scales.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in human resources technology, learning and development, coaching, people development, or employee experience is a plus.
  • Curiosity about what makes coaching transformational and the ability to translate that into product narratives for buyers and users.
