Requirements
  • RN with active license in good standing (multi-state eligible).
  • CMAC or RAC-CT certification required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ MDS/RAI coordination experience, with at least 2 years in a multi-site or corporate leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in PDPM, QRP, Five Star rating systems, and case mix reimbursement.
  • Travel may be required up to 40%.
Responsibilities
  • Direct and standardize MDS processes across all Cascadia facilities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluation for Regional and Facility MDS Coordinators.
  • Oversee the MDS component of Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs, preparing facilities for survey readiness and regulatory success.
  • Analyze and monitor case mix, PPS, and PDPM data company-wide to ensure appropriate reimbursement aligned with clinical documentation.
  • Partner with operations, clinical, and finance teams to align MDS performance with Five Star ratings, QRP data submission, and organizational goals.
