If residing within commutable distance to our office in Lehi, Dallas, or Houston, a hybrid schedule would be offered (3 days in office, 2 days work from home). Candidates within commutable distance are preferred, but those outside of an office area may be considered.
The QHSE Global Compliance Specialist will bring expertise in Global Regulatory Compliance, Supply Chain Risk Management, and Contractor Risk Management with a focus on HSE. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a growth mindset. Reporting to the Manager of QHSE Audit Optimization, this role combines elements of planning, project management, and operations. You will work across geographical boundaries and disciplines, demonstrating cross-cultural sensitivity and experience in engaging with internal stakeholders, clients, and third-party consultants. Your proactive approach will help define best practice playbooks and processes for entering new geographies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Guide regulatory compliance in HSE, ensuring Avetta’s products and services meet country-specific standards.
- Communicate key regulatory changes to internal stakeholders, staying current with international HSE regulations and trends.
- Assess Avetta’s HSE products and services for compliance gaps, develop action plans, and ensure alignment with local laws.
- Collaborate with internal and external resources to integrate HSE compliance requirements into localization processes and meet client needs.
- Maintain accurate records of HSE compliance efforts, including assessments, corrective actions, and status reports.
- Train and guide Avetta’s teams and partners on global HSE compliance requirements and best practices.
- Ensure timely deliverables from third-party consultants, adhering to SLAs.
- Track and report on quality, cost, and turnaround times of HSE projects quarterly.
- Maintain HSE regulatory content libraries and tools.
- Develop, document, and implement efficient and scalable HSE processes.
- Drive improvement initiatives related to country-specific HSE regulatory content, processes, and data.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., QHSE, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance).
- 8+ years of experience in global regulatory compliance, specifically within the HSE field, managing projects.
- In-depth knowledge of international HSE regulatory frameworks and standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex HSE regulatory requirements and develop actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate HSE compliance records.
- Proactive and adaptable mindset, capable of driving continuous improvement in HSE compliance processes.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Wrike, Salesforce.
- Industry certifications such as CSP, CRIS, or QHSE-related certifications are preferred.
- Fluency in English; additional proficiency is a plus.
