We are seeking a dynamic individual to support on one or two projects aimed at developing automation tools and streamlining workflows to enhance stakeholder productivity. Key deliverables for each project include comprehensive project documentation and the development of automated or digital solutions. Additionally, the co-op will create process maps or workflow diagrams where applicable to optimize processes. To ensure continuity and effective use of the solutions, knowledge transfer sessions will be conducted by the co-op.
Position Responsibilities:
- Engage in strategic planning, analytics, collaboration, and process improvement using technology and data analysis.
- Perform innovative and problem-solving tasks while understanding how business transformations impact operations.
- Collaborate with team members to assess and respond to the ongoing needs for analytics and support strategic priorities.
- Utilize tools like Microsoft Power Automate to automate tasks and create efficiencies within the Operations team.
- Apply analytical skills to manage and interpret large datasets using Excel, Power BI, and Power Automate, extracting valuable insights.
- Conduct research and analysis on industry trends and competitive activity, supporting strategic planning frameworks to facilitate effective decision-making and collaboration among stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a co-op program at your post-secondary institution.
- Familiarity with no-code platforms, allowing for the creation of applications and solutions without extensive coding knowledge.
- Basic understanding of software development concepts, including APIs and user interfaces.
- Experience with workflow automation tools like Microsoft Power Automate to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and report creation, including the ability to build complex models.
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint for creating and delivering effective presentations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills, capable of working closely with clients or team members to gather requirements and explain solutions clearly.
- Demonstrated adaptability and comfort with technology, with a willingness to learn new tools and methods in a dynamic environment.
