Overview:

In this role, you will help support Titan’s Retirement team in responding and educating our clients on all aspects of retirement planning. This hands-on role will require a candidate who can thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment. We are seeking candidates who have previous experience in financial planning/wealth management and are passionate about helping and educating clients to improve their long-term financial success. We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven, and eager to provide great customer service.

The Retirement Specialist will collaborate with other key functions within Titan and strategically manage the volumes of inbound and outbound emails, chats and calls necessary to assist all participants with their retirement needs in a timely manner. The position will serve a critical role in ensuring Titan operates smoothly and efficiently and will work closely with Investor Relations, Client Experience, and the Brokerage teams to communicate and deliver products and services to Titan’s clients and prospects.

What you’ll do

• Primary duties involve responding to client retirement related inquiries via chat, email, and/or phone.
• Process backdoor roth conversions, recharacterizations, RMDs, death and divorce distributions.
• Track and manage IRA money movements requests such as check, wire, ACH, and journals.
• Collaborate and communicate with custodial firm to ensure client inquiries are completed
• Collaborate and support CX, Investor Relations, Product, and Engineering teams on product and platform feedback, as well as triage issues to resolution.
• Analyze current procedures and offer improvement suggestions to increase workflow accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications  

• 3+ years of experience working in a financial services/wealth management firm, or Operations role.
• Demonstrated understanding of financial/retirement planning, taxes, investment markets, and financial industry regulations
• Highly motivated with ability to function well in fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment to meet stated goals and targets
• Demonstrated experience handling client concerns and issues with tact and diplomacy
• Passionate about for helping clients on a one-on-one basis
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Possesses a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask
• Detail oriented, reliable, and strong problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Kustomer, Zendesk, or other CRM platforms
• FINRA Series 7 licensed
• FINRA Series 63 and 65, or 66 licensed
