Requirements
  • Associate degree in a technical field preferred
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 –4 years relevant work experience or training required, preferably in a regulated environment (e.g., automotive, aerospace, medical device)
  • Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
  • Experience with microscopic visual inspection
  • Experience with ERP and PLM software systems
  • Proficiency with reading engineering documents, CAD drawings, and detailed work instructions
  • Strong digital, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner
Responsibilities
  • Execute quality control processes per purchased product, manufacturing operations, and customer quality requirements
  • Inspection of parts, assemblies, and finished products utilizing necessary tools and equipment in accordance with approved procedures, specifications, and drawings
  • Perform measurement using calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, and CMM/VMM
  • Document inspection activities using electronic systems, written logs, and labels
  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and improvement of inspection methods, inspection plans, and internal quality procedures and processes
  • Assist with the resolution to internal/external nonconformance using root cause, corrective action, and 8D methodologies
  • Assist in data analysis and department metrics reporting as required
  • Assist with the continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist in the resolution of audit findings, observations, and recommendations
  • Assist with the control and disposition of non-conforming material (MRB)
  • Drive scheduling of day-to-day processes; ensure timely and accurate turnaround
  • Other QC duties as assigned
