Requirements
  • A vocational diploma (DEP) in heavy machinery or 1 to 3 years of experience operating heavy vehicles.
  • A valid competency card for operating heavy machinery.
  • A valid Class 5 driver's licence.
  • Demonstrated commitment to occupational health and safety.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
  • Operate the loader safely and efficiently.
  • Load, unload, and move materials throughout the different site areas.
  • Feed the production line and different departments as needed.
  • Weigh incoming and outgoing materials and complete the required reports.
  • Inspect the machinery before and after the work shift.
  • Ensure the machinery operates properly and report any anomaly to the supervisor.
  • Notify the supervisor of any anomaly or nonconformity related to materials.
  • Keep the work area clean and safe.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.
