- A vocational diploma (DEP) in heavy machinery or 1 to 3 years of experience operating heavy vehicles.
- A valid competency card for operating heavy machinery.
- A valid Class 5 driver's licence.
- Demonstrated commitment to occupational health and safety.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Operate the loader safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the different site areas.
- Feed the production line and different departments as needed.
- Weigh incoming and outgoing materials and complete the required reports.
- Inspect the machinery before and after the work shift.
- Ensure the machinery operates properly and report any anomaly to the supervisor.
- Notify the supervisor of any anomaly or nonconformity related to materials.
- Keep the work area clean and safe.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
