As the VP of Learning & Outcomes, you will help Guild foster a “lifelong learner” culture that sees challenges as opportunities for innovation and growth for Guilders in service to our Learners and Members
  • This is a senior level position on the People Leadership Team (PLT) that will report directly to the Chief People and Purpose Officer,Dean Carter, and will lead a small team of approximately 10 people with the potential to expand as the company and team grows
  • As VP of Learning & Outcomes you will:
  • Build strategy and scale for a world class Learning & Outcomes function and strategy focused on curating learning, content and experiences to drive personal and career growth across the entire employee life cycle
  • Lead the rollout of our reimagined performance and reward programs and ensure systems are aligned with our core values to enable shared success for employees and managers
  • Collaborate with the CEO/CPO and leadership team to set a strategic vision and priorities for all Learning & Outcomes work, ensuring the organization has an eye on what it will need in the coming 1 year, 3 years and 10 years, including an explicit equity lens, and what it will take to get there
  • Participate at the executive level in decisions about strategic priorities and planning, ensuring Learning & Outcomes team objectives are fully integrated
  • Support enablement of a culture of coaching at Guild, spearheading an internal coaching program built on conscious leadership that pilots curriculum and experiences that other organizations would want
  • Provide L&D insights and programs that have higher rates of returns to our Learner and Members, implementing a platform to track impact and outcomes of L&D programs for Guilders to inform recommendations
  • In partnership with our Chief Opportunity Officer, partner to improve Guilder career mobility through the conscious and continuous iteration via improvement on our internal mobility pillars (targeted role development, internal sourcing & career exploration ecosystem)
  • Lead with agility and consultative approach by prioritizing listening and understanding the business needs, creating space for strategic problem solvers to solve client needs, and readily responding to change informed by what leaders need
  • Ensure that equity and inclusion are woven into all our learning and outcomes-related activities
  • Collect, analyze and maintain data gathered to inform targeted leadership development (e.g., succession planning). Design & implement a talent analytics strategy that leads to successful outcomes for all of Guild's employees
  • Required Competencies:
  • Deep experience in learning & organizational development leadership (10+ years) in a variety of learning & development space, including the designing and leading of learning programs at scale at similarly sized companies to Guild; prior experiences likely include large-scale learning initiative design, development, and delivery; team development for employees at every level of an organization; and a demonstrated understanding of the intersectionality of leadership development & outcomes programs
  • Learners mindset: Leads with curiosity and has desire to lead through the lens of continuous improvement across the team
  • Systems thinking & management: Brings expertise and innovation in building and incorporating external systems, technology and process and thinking; leads from the front in bringing in the future of technology to build effective learning experiences

Experience setting up and leading cross-functional teams through organizational change or transformation initiatives.   • Support the creation and enablement of a culture of coaching alongside the Chief Opportunity Officer, spearheading an internal coaching program built on conscious leadership that pilots curriculum and experiences that other organizations would want
  • Guide the implementation of learning time commitments and programs for all Guilders, such that learners agree they have time for development, and we can measure and report on impact to employees who actively engage and who have managers who support their growth
  • We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a base salary range of $220,000-$257,500, eligibility for variable compensation, as well as company stock options
