Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with teams across Duolingo to improve the notifications they send for their features and user flows
  • Build best practices for how notifications should be managed, at the individual notification or feature level, as well as at the company level
  • Run experiments testing new notifications and new notification copy at a rapid pace, and iterate quickly based on learnings from those tests
  • Drive product features through their entire creative cycle: ideation, specification, development, release, analysis, and iteration
  • Establish the product vision and strategy for our notification efforts, and build alignment across product teams, cross-functional partners, and leadership team
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative research to explore and validate new ideas
  • Partner with product designers and product writers to ensure notifications are engaging
  • Work with engineers to develop the future of our notifications systems and tooling
  • Define your key performance indicator(s) that drive company goals, and achieve them!
