Requirements
  • 8- years w/ a BS, 6 yrs w/ a MS, 3 yrs w/ a PhD, 12 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
  • Must have DoD 8570 Certs IAM/ IAT III (CISSP or associate, GSLC, or CISM)
  • Professional experience designing outstanding web-based products, sites, or apps
  • Strong user experience skill set including strategy, information architecture, data visualization, and graphic aesthetic
  • Ability to create clean, effective, and innovative visual design systems
  • Experience in designing for business applications that are data intensive, with significant user interactivity to build reports, search, filter, and manage portfolios
  • Experience driving design in a platform
  • Salesforce Experience
Responsibilities
  • Create the vision for developing, communicating, and implementing the user experience and associated UI framework and assets for web business applications
  • Develop detailed mockups, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas
  • Conduct user research to understand the needs and pain points of our Mission Partners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate backend functionality into the design
  • Create user-centric designs by anticipating user workflow, studying usability, and applying the principles of good design
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements
  • Customize and configure Salesforce to meet specific business needs
  • Implement best practices and coding standards to maintain a high level of code quality
  • Assist in the development of training materials and provide training to end-users when necessary
  • Support the below activities: Initial Design Framework: Complete the initial mockups and wireframes for critical components of the Onboarding Portal. Mid-Phase Review: Mid-phase review will be conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the designs and to implement adjustments, if necessary. Prototype Deployment: Complete a functional prototype of the Onboarding Portal for internal testing. Full Rollout: Aim for a full-scale deployment, incorporating all forms into the Onboarding Portal within 12 months. By aligning with our Action Plan, the UI Designer will play a critical role in not just shaping the design but also influencing the impact we have on our Mission Partners.
