Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Define project scopes in conjunction with leadership.
  • Discuss project objectives and completion measures.
  • Determine the resources required to complete projects.
  • Establish and document comprehensive project plans and timelines, including the sequence of activities needed to complete projects.
  • Review project schedules with leadership and staff affected by project activities.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments to ensure successful completion.
  • Consult with leadership on selecting staff to assist with projects.
  • Assign project tasks to the project team.
  • Ensure project personnel receive appropriate project orientation.
  • Manage project staff according to organizational policies and practices.
  • Review the quality of completed work with the project team to ensure it meets project standards.
  • Document project-related activities and maintain secure project files.
  • Create communication schedules to update stakeholders and organizational staff on project progress.
  • Prepare presentations and present status reports to leadership.
  • Assess internal controls and ensure compliance with University policies and procedures, including employee training on controls and policies.
  • Provide capacity-building support to grantees, research teams, and consortium partners in gender equity programming, research methodologies, monitoring and evaluation practices, and institutional effectiveness.
  • Facilitate learning exchanges and develop resource materials to support partner growth.
  • Execute the CCAR strategic and operational roadmap across priority countries by developing workplans, timelines, and milestone tracking systems.
  • Coordinate research implementation and community-based initiatives in selected countries.
  • Oversee the design and rollout of a digital knowledge-sharing and gender equity research hub.
  • Coordinate with University technical teams to operationalize data models and tracking systems.
  • Support Advisory Board operations, including meeting planning and follow-ups.
  • Prepare background materials and synthesize inputs.
  • Conduct and synthesize landscape reviews to identify gaps in gender and social equity research, policy, and programming.
  • Contribute to research design discussions, literature reviews, research questions, and analytical frameworks grounded in gender and social equity scholarship.
  • Coordinate planning and logistical arrangements for domestic and international research activities and fieldwork, including partner engagement, scheduling, compliance documentation, institutional review board processes where applicable, and data management planning.
  • Coordinate national and international partners, faculty, research staff, and students to implement research and engagement activities.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, track deliverables, and support collaborative problem-solving.
  • Monitor project progress against goals and milestones.
  • Support data collection, basic data analysis, and synthesis of findings to assess program impact and inform continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to internal learning processes and dissemination of best practices.
  • Contribute to research outputs, including policy briefs, reports, white papers, presentations, and academic publications.
  • Support conferences, symposia, and workshops to disseminate research findings and foster scholarly exchange.
  • Maintain secure and compliant records of research and programmatic activities in accordance with University policies, grant requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Draft and revise Terms of Reference, funding proposals, concept notes, research protocols, operational plans, and partnership agreements.
  • Contribute background research, budgets, timelines, and monitoring frameworks for grant submissions.
  • Coordinate research and program activities according to established timelines and work plans.
  • Track expenditures and assist with financial reporting to align activities with project budgets.
  • Support grant compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Identify operational risks and implementation mitigation.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree, at least, in Public Health, Global Development, Public Policy, or a related field is preferred.
  • Five or more years of program management experience in global health or development is preferred.
