Responsibilities
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, influencers, and industry thought leaders.
  • Develop, manage, and grow partnerships with designated strategic national accounts within the assigned area.
  • Articulate Shockwave Medical's complete clinical, reimbursement, health economics, and pricing value proposition to designated regional accounts.
  • Perform complex analysis of trends and the competitive landscape to improve programs, processes, and forecasts and maximize growth opportunities.
  • Develop actionable insights from trend and competitive-landscape analyses to improve strategic-account management.
  • Represent the business in high-level client meetings, negotiations, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with sales Area Vice Presidents, Regional Sales Directors, and their teams on designated accounts.
  • Provide leadership with strategic insight based on emerging trends, clinical needs, and market needs to support the company vision and long-term success.
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term strategic plans based on key customer initiatives.
  • Manage and effectively lead a team of Directors and new account managers focused on execution, growth, and accountability.
  • Manage implementation of contracts and agreements with assigned accounts to drive sales-volume growth and additional partnership opportunities.
  • Serve as a liaison to marketing, sales, and other functions to create market-expansion and market-entry support programs for commercial-team execution after contract changes.
  • Maintain pricing discipline in alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Roll out contracts within a sales team to ensure maximum pull-through.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leaders, Marketing, Sales Operations, the contracts department, and other cross-functional partners.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with external customers and internal Shockwave Medical partners.
