- Experience working with hand and power tools
- Experience working with outside contractors and service providers

- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Strong facility-related (e.g. mechanical, electrical) assessment and troubleshooting skills
- Experience providing efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues
- Able to read and understand complex electrical, mechanical and automation systems
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Manage buildings with pride ensuring function, cleanliness, and organization
- Perform daily rounds and readings of critical systems and equipment
- Work with management to achieve maximum utilization of assigned facilities space
- Create and maintain vendor relationships to support building needs
- Respond to employee requests in a timely manner
- Performs routine maintenance and building repairs
- Coordinate system repairs and monitor system performance
- Install furniture and equipment
- Maintain adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary
- Maintain facilities compliance with local, county, state, and federal regulations
- Provides troubleshooting support as needed
- Provides overall directions and sets priorities for the site improvement projects and activities
- Plans and coordinates major maintenance activities, including scheduled plant shutdowns
- Works closely with all departments and key stakeholders
- Maintain a safe working environment working directly with EHS and Synthego Safety Committee
- Will be responsible for the effective 24/7 uninterrupted support of facilities operational activities and security
