Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working in a regulated environment
  • High school diploma
  • Prior experience working in a laboratory environment
  • Familiar with gases, vacuum and CDA
  • Experience working with hand and power tools
  • Experience working with outside contractors and service providers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong facility-related (e.g. mechanical, electrical) assessment and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience providing efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues
  • Able to read and understand complex electrical, mechanical and automation systems
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
  • Manage buildings with pride ensuring function, cleanliness, and organization
  • Perform daily rounds and readings of critical systems and equipment
  • Work with management to achieve maximum utilization of assigned facilities space
  • Create and maintain vendor relationships to support building needs
  • Respond to employee requests in a timely manner
  • Performs routine maintenance and building repairs
  • Coordinate system repairs and monitor system performance
  • Install furniture and equipment
  • Maintain adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary
  • Maintain facilities compliance with local, county, state, and federal regulations
  • Provides troubleshooting support as needed
  • Provides overall directions and sets priorities for the site improvement projects and activities
  • Plans and coordinates major maintenance activities, including scheduled plant shutdowns
  • Works closely with all departments and key stakeholders
  • Maintain a safe working environment working directly with EHS and Synthego Safety Committee
  • Will be responsible for the effective 24/7 uninterrupted support of facilities operational activities and security
