  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, event planning, organizing major events, or travel logistics required
  • Experience in political and finance advance and events is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience negotiating with external partners
  • Detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee event planning and execution for major donor fundraising events produced by the finance team, with a focus on surrogate events and virtual events
  • Oversee the research, identification, and facilitation of the vetting and onboarding process for external vendors and venues
  • Manage logistics and execute all virtual events produced by the finance team (Zooms and webinars)
  • Serve as vendor and volunteer lead for in-person events
  • Coordinate with principal staff, advance, and security to identify speaker-specific event requirements
  • Assist in managing staff and volunteer requirements at in-person events
  • Support the Events Director as needed
  • Other duties as assigned to support the department and the DNC's mission
