Requirements
  • 1-2 years of collegiate internship or project team experience (SAE, Rocket Club, etc) that includes working with multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment and managing complex engineering projects and schedules
  • Ability to apply both engineering first-principles and methodical thinking to challenging problems
  • Hands-on exposure to a variety of engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, fluids)
  • Experience with CAD software (NX, Solidworks, etc.)
  • Experience with FEA software (ANSYS, COMSOL, FEMAP, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Baccalaureate GPA 3.25 or above
Responsibilities
  • Helion is hiring an early-career Mechanical Engineer to own hardware designs for Helion's fusion generator prototypes. This position provides a unique opportunity to solve multidisciplinary engineering problems that are critical to deploying fusion energy to the world. It also provides the unique opportunity to be a culture-driver on a small but rapidly growing team
