Groundworks is looking for a Vice President ofBrand Communications to join our corporate team inVirginia Beach, VA.
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Brand Communications to lead our efforts in understanding consumer insights, developing brand strategies, and managing our internal marketing agency comprised of talented designers and videographers. This leadership role will be instrumental in shaping the narrative and positioning of the Groundworks brand, driving engagement, and ensuring alignment with our overall business goals.
Job Responsibilities
Lead research initiatives to gather and analyze consumer insights that inform brand strategy.
Utilize data analytics to identify trends, preferences, and behaviors to enhance brand positioning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Production and Service to create best-in-class experiences for our customers and our teams in the field.
Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies that resonate with target audiences and align with company objectives.
Lead innovative brand initiatives and ensure consistency across all channels and touchpoints
Work closely with executive leadership to shape the long-term vision of Groundworks’ brands.
Manage and inspire a team of internal designers and videographers to deliver high-quality creative content that reflects the brand’s identity.
Work with external agency partners to amplify brand initiatives by development of compelling advertising campaigns that educate consumers about our offerings and increase awareness of the solutions we have to protect people’s homes.
Oversee project workflows, timelines, and budgets to ensure the timely and successful execution of marketing initiatives.
Measurement and Optimization:
Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of brand communications and marketing initiatives.
Analyze performance data to optimize strategies, improve brand strength and market presence.
Provide regular reports to senior leadership on brand performance and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
Advanced degree in a supporting field a plus.
Must have at least 12+ years of experience in brand management, marketing communications or related roles.
Proven track recordleading client-side, internal marketing agency or agency-side leadership in Account Management, Planning or Creative.
Strong understanding of consumer insights, brand strategy and messaging development. Previous experience with multi-brand, multi-location messaging communication strategies a plus.
Knowledge of graphic design and videography with ability to lead direction for internal team and external partners to execute on creative assignments.
Experience leading change in complex organizations.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable with both art and science of marketing – both creative and analytical.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to travel to support our diverse geographic footprint (1-2 trips per month).
