Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience working in IT operations, working with third party technology teams, and supporting large information technology projects
  • Excellent understanding of computer systems, security cameras, WIFI network and systems administration, and telecommunications systems
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and troubleshoot issues with an emphasis on minimizing downtime
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
  • Strong knowledge of both Apple and PC systems
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and optimize the digital media system, ensuring smooth operation of AV equipment, displays and multimedia content delivery
  • Monitor and manage overall WIFI network reliability, ensuring stable connectivity and addressing any network-related issues promptly
  • Support all of Surf Ranch Store technology needs
  • Providing front and back of house IT support, resolving all IT issues efficiently
  • Collaborate closely with HQ to ensure synchronization of all technological platforms
  • Overseeing third party resources for digital media and integrating with third party vendors and integrations onsite for network support
  • Work with external vendors to troubleshoot technical issues related to digital media, networking and other IT systems
  • Manage in-house firmware, hardware and software for on-site employees, including installation, updates, maintenance and support
  • Provide support or troubleshoot any issues regarding our technology as a whole (Apple computers, Windows 10, peripheral devices, mobile phones, etc) for all employees
  • Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining video conference applications, ensuring smooth virtual communication and collaboration
  • Take on special IT projects as assigned, such as monitoring AV systems, system upgrades, migrations, or technology deployments
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations and troubleshooting procedures
  • Liaise with third party technology vendors to deal with environmental maintenance and support of client facing technology equipment
  • Assist in managing our Google Workspace for Business platform including but not limited to: adding new users and assigning them to proper email distribution lists, troubleshooting Google Workspace
  • Assist in setting onboarding and offboarding for Surf Ranch employees
  • Sense of urgency providing Tier I IT level support type activities such as, switch configurations, network monitoring and troubleshooting, etc
  • Other duties as assigned
