Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma with 0 to 2 years of related experience.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct monthly self-assessments of distribution center quality systems, food defense, and food safety protocols, and document all findings.
  • Organize and attend bi-annual quality meetings covering self-assessment findings, corrective action planning and status, awareness review training, and new initiative communications.
  • Coordinate quality-related documentation and communications, including the distribution center document submission schedule and training.
  • Support the Distribution Center's crisis management and product recovery exercises and documentation revisions.
  • Perform DQMP self-assessments and coordinate related on-site assessments and audits.
  • Review data from routes equipped with continuous monitoring equipment to ensure temperature compliance.
  • Record and report product quality issues, including temperature deviations, product damage, and products not meeting visual expectations, using QIP Plus tracking records.
  • Monitor sanitation and building maintenance activities related to quality systems, maintain required documents, and communicate issues to the Distribution Center Management Team.
  • Follow up on inspections of inbound shipments to ensure product quality standards.
  • Administer internal self-audits and inspections, analyze data, and maintain current records for potential external audits.
  • Provide training on regulatory requirements and processes as needed.
  • Perform other projects or duties as assigned.
