Requirements
  • Must have a secret clearance.
  • A master's or doctorate degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical or professional discipline being performed, including five years in the Department of Defense; or a bachelor's degree in a related field and twelve years of experience in the respective technical or professional discipline being performed, including five years in the Department of Defense; or fifteen years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, including eight years in the Department of Defense.
Responsibilities
  • Provide statistical data analysis, modeling, simulation, optimization, and analytical support to assist the Government in developing and implementing standard performance-management measures and metrics, including methodologies to set targets and assess progress against the organization's strategic plan, goals, objectives, cost-effectiveness, efficiencies, and other Government-directed areas.
  • Maintain existing performance measures and metrics and develop, coordinate, and implement new metrics and targets to measure performance across all business areas, including business rules for metrics data collection, metrics, and performance-measurement tools.
  • Review and analyze business rules to ensure alignment with desired performance targets, including developing performance measures, identifying data sources, determining data-pull frequency and formats, documenting calculations, and analyzing metric data.
  • Support Acquisition Sustainment Reviews, Congressional inquiries, and CAT activities by performing Action Officer duties, including preparing briefings, developing and coordinating TMT suspense responses, completing required analysis, and recommending courses of action for leadership decisions.
  • Respond to taskers using a comprehensive approach that identifies problems, analyzes issues, develops courses of action, and provides recommendations suitable for GOFO-level review.
  • Assist with manning and screening the RSO workflow and support the overall management of assigned programs and efforts while coordinating with lateral organizations and external agencies as required.
  • Apply recognized statistical techniques and tools to perform leading-indicator analyses for time series, including predictive forecasting methods such as basic moving average, exponential smoothing, regression analysis, and Box-Jenkins.
  • Use forecasting techniques and tools to identify confidence levels, margins of error, sensitivity analyses, what-if analyses, hypothesis testing, modeling, and simulation to improve metrics program forecasting and planning efforts.
  • Support internal and external briefings and reports by preparing, scheduling, and coordinating materials, reviewing correspondence, and producing letters, reports, spreadsheets, database reports, and graphs using standard United States Air Force office automation software.
  • Assist the RSO PEG suspense and tracking team with TMT suspense tracking, workflow mailbox review, response coordination with two-letter directorates, and assignment of PEG action officers to each TMT task.
  • Prepare weekly status briefings of late and upcoming TMT suspenses for PEG Chief review, assist with closure of TMT suspenses, and package suspenses for AFLCMC Program Executive Officers and functional two-letter offices.
  • Train RSP PEG and two-letter action officers on the use of TMT and respond to technical system and process-related questions.
  • Provide direct support to turn data into usable, actionable output and communicate information efficiently and effectively for AFLCMC senior leaders, higher headquarters, and directorate-level offices.
  • Assist with updating and retrieving information in the center Microsoft SharePoint document library and compile, format, and store directorate-level inputs to taskings supporting development of center responses.
  • Use NIPRNET and SIPRNET electronic mail to request and compile responses and transmit approved responses to specified higher headquarters or Congressional inquiries.
  • Assist in managing and tracking civilian and military decoration programs for the center, including coordinating with the center Directorate of Personnel awards monitor to track awards packages.
