  • 4 year degree in a relevant applicable field and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience
  • In lieu of degree, High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of at least fifteen (15) years applicable experience in configuration and data management
  • Detailed knowledge and experience in the process of printed circuit board electronics design documentation development and manufacturing
  • Detailed knowledge of and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques of technical domain
  • Detailed knowledge and experience in configuration change management principles and record types
  • Detailed knowledge of mechanical, electrical, software and other CM practices as detailed in SAE EIA-649 (series and associated handbooks), ASME Y14 (series), ISO 9001, MIL-STD-31000, MIL-HDBK-61, DODM 5200.01 (series), DODI 5200.48 etc.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools
  • Detailed knowledge of bill of materials, technical documents, product drawings, schematics, diagrams and specifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products (primarily Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Visio experience is a plus)
  • Proficient in Adobe PDF editing software or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint collaboration software
  • Capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Ensure configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations
  • Develop solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact multiple areas or disciplines
  • Verify Printed Circuit Board Electronics Bills of Materials along with a full suite of support documents
  • Execute Configuration and Data Management processes and controls
  • Write and maintain documents such as CM corporate policies, Configuration Management plans, Project Configuration Forms, program Access Control lists, desktop instructions, CM work instructions and audit forms
  • Oversee CM team members regarding solution design, process and/or approaches
  • Support tasks in a dynamic environment, working closely with the CM, engineering, manufacturing, quality, other teams, and the customer and/or external contacts
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience and/or working knowledge with NDIA CDM, CMII or other Configuration Management/Data Management certification
  • Experience with printed circuit board layout or schematic capture design software tools (Mentor Expedition, Altium, etc.)
