Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12+ years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree with 10+ years, or PhD with 8+ years; An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement.
  • Active TS/SCI or TS with SCI eligibility at time of application, and willingness to sit for a polygraph
  • Candidates are required to be Security+ certified.
  • Candidates are required to travel a minimum of 20%
Responsibilities
  • Design and plan network communication systems.
  • Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate network faults and failures in a LAN/WAN environment.
  • Provide specific detailed information for hardware and software selections, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
  • Conduct testing of network design.
  • Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and software interconnections and interfacing, such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers etc.
  • Evaluate and report on new communication technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.
  • Build deployable field units in Aurora.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with: LAN/WAN and OSPF/BGP/EIGRP
  • Current, adjudicated CI or Full Scope polygraph
  • Firewall Hardware and Software Knowledge, administration, and management.
  • Router Hardware and Software Knowledge
  • Switches Hardware and Software Knowledge
  • Encryption Knowledge
