Requirements
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a related field such as Healthcare Administration or Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in healthcare enrollment and benefits processing, healthcare data management, or payor contracts, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership position.
  • Proficiency with the Epic Systems Tapestry application.
  • Epic certification in Benefits Administration and/or Eligibility and Enrollment Administration.
  • Epic certification in Claims Administration and/or Cheers.
  • The ability to obtain or maintain knowledge of healthcare enrollment and benefits compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the utilization, management, and maintenance of the Epic Systems Tapestry application and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of enrollment and benefits data.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to enrollment and benefits.
  • Provide expert-level technical support, troubleshoot application-related issues, and resolve complex problems.
  • Collaborate with and lead internal teams to understand and address enrollment and benefits needs, including implementing system updates and enhancements.
  • Work with the Managed Care Manager to plan and execute strategic objectives and project initiatives.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations and lead teams in implementing workflow optimizations.
  • Create and maintain user-friendly application documentation, guides, and best practices.
  • Provide day-to-day direction to several individual contributors and ensure assigned tasks are completed within the requested timeframe and specifications.
  • Monitor and measure staff activities and provide feedback based on agreed performance criteria.
  • Perform annual performance evaluations and ensure employees are aware of performance challenges before reviews.
  • Monitor employee workloads and assist with prioritization and escalation.
  • Coach team members on career development and individual development plans.
  • Facilitate daily or weekly team standups to discuss activities and determine barriers.
  • Monitor supported system performance, identify system challenges, and work with the team to reduce errors and improve efficiency.
  • Support and use the PRISM Change Management process and ensure incidents and problems are entered into PRISM.
  • Support information technology and business leadership in organizational goals and ensure team adherence to service-level agreements and PRISM Service Management Standards.
