What You’ll Do:

The Digital Product Designer at Archer will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop Apps that meet Archer’s ecosystem needs. The successful candidate will be passionate about creating intuitive solutions that will deliver our desired brand experience. They will collaborate with other designers and engineers to use qualitative and quantitative data to make informed, design-related decisions. The Digital Product Designer should be proficient at converting requirements into practical product features aiming at delivering a fluid and immersive App experience. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio showcasing their design skills, with an emphasis on creating exceptional and aesthetically pleasing digital experiences. 

Roles & Responsibilities

The Digital product designer will report directly to the Head of Brand Experience working under the Design and Innovation Team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct user testing and evaluate the effectiveness of the product design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create on-brand app experiences
• Communicate with external partners such as developers, manufacturers, and suppliers
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for mobile applications that are engaging and beautiful
• Develop user interface (UI) designs that are visually appealing, intuitive, and responsive.
• Ensure consistency of design elements and adherence to brand guidelines
• Create and maintain design guidelines and systems for digital products
• Identify opportunities for product or feature enhancements
• Remain up to date on industry trends, market conditions, consumer preferences and use this research and analysis to ensure the product is competitive in the market
• Present product design ideas to leadership and external partners and take direction whenever necessary
• Use FIGMA, Photoshop and After Effects to produce prototypes to help test functionality
• Build out high-fidelity, pixel perfect screens for partners to use during the development process
• Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful implementation of visually stunning and beautiful designs.
• Provide design support and guidance throughout the development lifecycle, with an emphasis on creating visually stunning and beautiful app interfaces

What You Need:

At Archer, we’re looking for passionate individuals with a well-rounded understanding of the entire design process, including user research, copywriting, wireframing, prototyping, design, interaction, and usability testing:

• 10+ years of related experience
• 3-5 years of professional experience on a product development team
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that are visually stunning and beautiful.
• Power-user level competency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience identifying customer needs beyond the prominent features and functionality.
• A strong track record of collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Ability to conduct, interpret, and present qualitative and quantitative feedback and research.
• Exceptional communication skills for conveying design concepts and roadmaps
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Understanding of project objectives and execution of said objectives.
• A well-rounded “Digital product design” portfolio with result-driven case studies
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work, with an emphasis on creating visually stunning and beautiful app designs

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $163,200 - $204,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
