Requirements
  • Maintain up-to-date Epic certification in one or more of Grand Central (ADT), Cadence, Prelude, Referrals, Welcome, HIM, Identity, Bedtime, or Eligibility.
  • Be willing to travel.
  • Have at least 3 years of Epic Cadence experience and certification.
  • Have knowledge and experience in application reporting.
  • Be comfortable working remotely and/or traveling to client sites.
  • Have previous experience performing both analyst and project manager work.
  • W2 project-based consultants must provide a computing device that adheres to industry standards and security best practices.
  • Submit timesheets and expenses at the end of each week.
  • Complete status reports as required by the client and Tegria.
  • Complete onboarding requirements in a timely manner.
  • Return company equipment in a timely manner when the contract ends.
Responsibilities
  • Work independently or as part of a healthcare information technology project team on client engagements.
  • Serve as an Epic liaison between diverse information technology and operations groups.
  • Utilize, review, and create project tools and templates for healthcare information technology or operations-focused projects.
  • Create and maintain project plans for Epic go-lives, upgrades, or application implementations as applicable.
  • Evaluate and document current-state processes through discovery and analysis.
  • Build, test, train, convert, and/or deploy new infrastructure, workflows, policies, and processes.
  • Document measurable outcomes from initiatives through key performance indicator analysis and impact tracking.
  • Use communication, decision-making, and escalation pathways effectively.
  • Execute project wrap-up through outcomes documentation, lessons learned, and leave-behind materials that enable customers to sustain ongoing operations.
  • Mentor customer counterparts for successful long-term ownership and growth in their Epic information technology or application area.
  • Attend project team check-in calls for specific large projects as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Additional Epic certifications.
  • Prior consulting experience.
  • Demonstrated ability in project, risk, or change management.
  • Formal project management certification such as Project Management Professional or Certified ScrumMaster.
  • Formal process improvement certification such as Lean Six Sigma or Information Technology Infrastructure Library.

Tegria appoints Craig Mengert as CEO after Altaris acquisition

Tegria, a global healthcare consulting and services company, has appointed Craig Mengert as chief executive officer. Mengert will also join Tegria's board of directors, succeeding Brian Cahill, who is retiring after 47 years and will transition to an independent director role. Mengert brings over 30 years of healthcare experience and most recently served as CEO at TriZetto, a Cognizant company, where he led double-digit growth and championed artificial intelligence integration. He previously held leadership positions at Horizon BlueCross BlueShield of New Jersey. The appointment follows Tegria's acquisition by Altaris, a healthcare-dedicated investment firm, earlier this year. Tegria employs over 1,000 professionals serving more than 650 provider and payer clients across North America and Europe.

Altaris has acquired Tegria Services Group from Providence St. Joseph Health, establishing it as an independent provider of outsourced technology services for healthcare providers and payers. The transaction terms were not disclosed. Tegria specialises in healthcare technology services, offering consulting, managed services and technology solutions across North America and the UK. The company provides system implementation, application hosting, data and analytics, and revenue cycle management services. It will continue serving Providence as a preferred technology partner.
