Requirements
  • At least 7 years of experience in Product Management, Technical Program Management, or Security Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of direct experience in cloud security, enterprise networking, software as a service, or infrastructure security platforms.
  • Deep technical understanding of global security and regulatory standards including FedRAMP, PBMM, DoD SRG, CMMC, NIST SP 800-53, FIPS 140, Common Criteria, ISO 27001, SOC 2, Australia IRAP, Japan ISMAP, and regional data residency laws.
  • A track record of writing technical product requirements documents, working closely with agile software engineering teams, and successfully launching cloud-native capabilities.
  • Ability to influence senior engineering leaders, governance, risk, and compliance teams, and external auditors without being their direct manager.
  • Ability to explain complex legal and regulatory terminology as clear technical requirements and executive summaries.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities and multiple concurrent activities.
  • A BS in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or equivalent technical experience.
Responsibilities
  • Drive the end-to-end roadmap for Global Compliance and Data Sovereignty, aligning the security posture with government-market requirements in the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Asia-Pacific and Japan, and Latin America.
  • Translate complex global regulatory standards into actionable requirements for platform certifications and sovereign data mandates.
  • Partner with Engineering, Program Management, Product Management, Corporate Engineering, Legal, Human Resources, and Finance to incorporate security and compliance requirements into projects and business processes.
  • Scale regional compliance initiatives such as UK Public Sector, Australia IRAP, and Japan ISMAP into repeatable, enterprise-grade programs for the global government business.
  • Work with Marketing and Sales to translate the compliance posture and certifications into customer-facing content.
  • Modernize compliance operations by integrating artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced governance, risk, and compliance tooling for evidence collection and continuous monitoring.
  • Represent the company’s compliance architecture and regulatory commitments to government auditors, agencies, and enterprise customers.
Desired Qualifications
  • US Citizenship with an active US Government Security Clearance (Secret or above).
  • Technical or security certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Information Security Manager, Certified Cloud Security Professional, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer.
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure, and with data sovereignty and encryption technologies.
  • Experience scaling product management processes or mentoring junior team members.
  • An MS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or an MBA.

Netskope launches AI security platform to tackle enterprise data protection gaps

Netskope, a Santa Clara-based cloud security company backed by Accel, launched its Netskope One DataSec Command Center on 5 August. The platform provides organisations with a unified interface to discover, track and protect sensitive data across AI environments, cloud services, SaaS applications, on-premises infrastructure, endpoints and email. The product will become generally available this quarter as part of Netskope One, the company's cloud-native platform comprising over 20 security, networking and analytics products. According to Netskope's 2026 Data Security Report, 98% of organisations use AI, but only 8% consistently enforce data protection policies in AI environments. Additionally, 58% use 11 or more separate data security tools.
