Job Description: 

We are closely working with multiple customers to deploy their software stack on IA hardware. This is a requirement within a team to assist customers in configuring benchmark opensource and proprietary software stacks. This position aims to determine if the customer’s black box can be replicated utilizing IA-specific SW or open-source software.

Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

• Communication and interpersonal skills in dynamic work environment
• Quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, problem/conflict resolution skills

Length of internship estimate is 6 months with a possibility to extend. This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel location and off-site.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualification:

• The candidate must be pursuing a MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field

3+ months of industry experience or relevant course work in any of the following:

• C++/Python, JS/CSS/HTML, shell scripting
• Algorithms, complexity, data structure, concurrent processing
• Networking, L2 and L3 protocols

Preferred Qualifications:

• Configuring Arista, Cisco and White Box routers
