- A minimum Associate degree or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 2–3 years of relevant purchasing experience is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and related Windows-based software is required.
- Ability to work as part of a support staff in a technical office environment is required.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments as required is needed.
- Create detailed equipment and services purchase orders for the network organization using PeopleSoft 9.1 and correct accounting coding.
- Work with buyers and consultants to ensure timely and accurate purchase orders.
- Process electronic invoicing and match invoices with purchase orders.
- Research purchasing problems and issues.
- Assist with invoicing and reporting functions.
- Relevant purchasing experience within a network or other engineering organization is preferred.
- Cellular experience is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Workflow Manager is preferred.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft or another purchasing system for creating purchase orders is preferred.
