  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing process development role, preferably in the battery or related high-tech industries.
  • Strong technical skills in process design, simulation, and optimization, with experience in statistical process control (SPC) and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
  • Design and optimize manufacturing processes for the production of battery cells, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and quality.
  • Conduct process simulations and analyses to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and improve throughput.
  • Develop and implement process control strategies to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure manufacturability of new battery cell designs, providing feedback and guidance on design for manufacturing (DFM) principles.
  • Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives for manufacturing issues, working closely with the quality assurance team to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with equipment engineers to select, customize, and commission manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal integration with process workflows.
  • Develop detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials, to support manufacturing personnel.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams focused on continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and cost reduction initiatives.
