Requirements
  • The candidate must be a degree-seeking University of Arkansas at Little Rock student enrolled in classes at the time of application.
  • The candidate must be legally authorized to work up to 20 hours per week in the United States.
  • The candidate must have the formal education equivalent of a high school diploma.
  • The candidate must be ineligible for Federal Work-Study.
  • The candidate must major in Graphic Design at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
  • The candidate must have taken Intro to Visual Arts, 3D Design, and Composition II.
  • The candidate must have basic knowledge of design.
  • The candidate must understand Microsoft Word.
  • The candidate must be able to work up to 20 hours per week, concentrated Monday through Friday during regular business hours, with potential nights and weekends for special events.
  • The candidate must be able to follow directions and take critique.
  • A cover letter or letter of application is required for consideration.
Responsibilities
  • Create Marq templates.
  • Work on logos.
  • Receive training in Adobe suite programs.
  • Assist the photographer on photoshoots.
  • Capture event photos for social media and story posts.
  • Create plasma screens and marquee slides.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to assist employees in the Office of Communications and Marketing.
  • Staff the Communications and Marketing front desk.
