  • A minimum of 10-12 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance related field, advanced degree preferred
  • Strong financial acumen, including a thorough understanding of financial modeling techniques; US GAAP understanding
  • Demonstration of critical, analytical, and creative thinking and problem solving
  • Ability to participate in strategic decision making as a financial subject matter expert, but also as a broader business partner
  • Experience in managing cost pools and indirect rate calculations
  • Ability to confidently interact with the senior management team, providing appropriate insight and guidance
  • Natural communicator - strong writing skills and the ability to effectively make formal and informal presentations to all levels of the organization
  • Power user with typical financial software packages, including Excel, UNANET, PowerBI, and financial planning tools/systems
  • Experience in the government contracting industry including revenue recognition and cost accounting practices
  • Experience with prevalent industry tools such as Costpoint, Unanet, Cognos
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with multiple initiatives and changing priorities
Responsibilities
  • Preparation of financial deliverables and internal/external reports to include Annual Operating Plan (AOP), monthly and quarterly forecasts, Estimates At Complete (EAC) and Estimates to Complete (ETC) and providing centralized planning and scheduling on many projects
  • Provide direct support to the Cyber LOB Vice President in the development of executive communications for high-level, high-visibility presentations for senior management, including the company executive team, board of directors, and other stakeholders
  • Partner with Cyber LOB Program managers to develop, maintain, and report all budgets (spend plans) for assigned programs to ensure that all budgeting, scheduling, and coordination processes run smoothly
  • Support the Cyber LOB Vice President in the development of annual indirect Budget submissions to Corporate and partner with FP&A on preparation of forecasts, plans and budgets
  • Prepare detailed resource utilization and forecast plans, create key metrics for monitoring, and preparing variance explanations
  • Perform explicit analysis of “actuals” vs “projections” and ensure that all expenditures within the financial reports are allocated to the correct accounts
  • Interface with PMs, RII's finance, accounting, and contracts organizations as well as external customers to address operational issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Develop, maintain, and ensure ongoing compliance with accounting policies and internal controls; ensure that policies and controls keep pace with the growth that RII is experiencing
