Who You Are

As our SVP, Engineering, you are a visionary technology leader with deep roots in building and scaling data-intensive applications and platforms. You bring clarity to complexity, thrive at the intersection of strategy and execution, and know how to align engineering excellence with business impact.

You have the architectural depth of a data leader, ideally with experience as a data architect, and the agility to guide teams working with high-volume ingest and egress systems. At the same time, you are energized by the possibilities of AI innovation—not as a pure researcher, but as a pragmatic, curious leader who creates space for experimentation and rapid iteration.

You’ve successfully led both small, startup-style teams and large, globally distributed organizations, giving you the range to mature a young platform while also scaling it through rapid growth and major product migrations. You lead with empathy, prioritize culture and people, and create an environment where innovation and accountability thrive side by side.

What You’ll Do
As SVP, Engineering, you’ll be responsible for leading the technical direction of Intellistack. You’ll work closely with Product Strategy, DevOps, and QA, as well as cross-functional peers, to develop and execute on the technical vision and product roadmap. Your work will directly shape our platform, drive innovation, and influence the next chapter of our growth.

• Advance the Data Fabric and Platform Architecture: Guide the evolution of our Data Fabric—our core IP—ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability in data-intensive environments with complex ingest and egress requirements.

• Foster AI-Driven Innovation: Build a culture of curiosity and disciplined experimentation with AI, enabling teams to rapidly explore new opportunities that extend the value of our platform.

• Scale Engineering with Agility: Balance startup scrappiness with growth discipline, leading the dual challenge of maturing our young platform while managing migration and scaling of established product lines.

• Lead Diverse Teams: Inspire, mentor, and scale engineering organizations of all sizes, cultivating a world-class culture grounded in collaboration, feedback, and continuous learning.

• Drive Cross-Functional Impact: Partner with Product, GTM, and Operations to ensure technical priorities align with business outcomes and customer success.

• Own Technical Strategy: Define and execute Intellistack’s technical vision, marrying long-term architectural bets with near-term delivery that keeps us ahead of the market.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven Leadership in Data-Intensive Systems: Deep experience building platforms with high data throughput; prior background as a data architect strongly preferred.

• AI Fluency & Curiosity: Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled systems, with the mindset to foster exploration and continuous innovation in applied AI.

• Scale-Up Expertise: Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in early-stage startup environments while successfully scaling organizations, platforms, and product lines.

• Team Leadership Range: Experience leading both small, entrepreneurial teams and large, global engineering organizations.

• Strategic + Hands-On: Ability to set visionary strategy while rolling up sleeves to engage with architecture, systems, and teams directly when needed.

• Executive Presence: Strong communicator who can influence, align, and inspire across functions and geographies.

Bonus Points

• Experience scaling platforms that serve enterprise and mid-market customers

• Familiarity with developer platforms and low/no-code ecosystems
