Tilt launches AI-powered Clips feature, its biggest move since securing $26M funding

Live shopping app Tilt has launched Clips, a scrollable feed of short, buyable videos enabling people to shop or sell without waiting for a stream to go live. Users can create a listing in under three seconds, with AI handling the filming and description. This marks Tilt's biggest launch since securing $26 million in funding from investors including TQ Ventures, Vinted Ventures, and Balderton. "Trust is about to become the rarest thing on the internet," says co-founder Neil Shah. "As AI floods the world with fakes, that gap only gets wider. Clips is how we close it: you see the item in someone's hands, every detail, and seconds later it's yours." Live shopping remains central to Tilt, whilst Clips allows buyers to browse and purchase in their own time.

Tilt launches AI tool that creates product listings in 1 second, boosts sales 47%

Tilt, a live auction app for fashion and collectibles, has launched Snap, an AI tool that automatically creates product listings from live video in under one second. Early testing shows the feature delivers a 47% increase in sales through improved listing quality. The tool addresses a key industry problem: marketplace sellers lose roughly 16 hours weekly to manual administration, with individual listings taking 8-12 minutes to create. Snap identifies products with 94.8% accuracy and generates optimised titles, descriptions, categories and prices whilst sellers stream. Founded in 2021 by former Revolut employees Abhi Thanendran and Neil Shah, London-based Tilt has raised $27 million from investors including Balderton Capital and TQ Ventures. The platform operates across the UK, Italy, Spain and Poland.
