Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in developing data visualization solutions using Power BI, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing intuitive and insightful dashboards.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational and non-relational databases, including AWS Redshift, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Azure SQL Database.
- Experience in supporting AWS and Azure cloud environments, including familiarity with services such as AWS S3, Redshift, Lambda, and Azure Data Lake, SQL Database, and Data Factory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex data requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data visualization solutions using Power BI to provide insights into key business metrics and trends.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective visualizations and reports.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports that enable users to explore data and extract actionable insights.
- Work closely with data engineers to ensure data pipelines are optimized for visualization purposes and meet performance requirements.
- Lead the integration of Power BI with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, leveraging services such as AWS Redshift, S3, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Lake.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on best practices for data visualization and Power BI development.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Power BI reports and dashboards to enhance user experience and responsiveness.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in data visualization tools and techniques, and incorporate them into our development practices.
- Support ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of existing Power BI solutions, addressing any issues or enhancements as needed.
- Drive adoption of data visualization best practices across the organization through training sessions and knowledge sharing.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with data modeling and ETL processes is a plus.
- Certifications in Power BI and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) are desirable.
