Requirements
  • Education and experience equivalent to a four-year college degree in accounting, finance, mathematics or other related field is required
  • Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, for delivery to a variety of audiences
  • Learning mindset, focus on continuous process improvement
  • Results-oriented, with ability to execute multiple high-priority items simultaneously
  • Effective use of technology and ability to navigate complex virtual environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Experience with individual life insurance or financial services is preferred
  • At least one passed SOA exam and the intention of continuing to take exams
Responsibilities
  • Validate calculations on policy administrative systems and product illustration systems
  • Test and modify Excel spreadsheet calculation tools for internal and external use
  • Provide oversight of TPA processes and procedures involving product calculations
  • Respond to escalated service issues and resolve production problems
  • Support illustration software updates and test user interface and reports
  • Assist with product implementation decisions by reviewing business requirements, product specifications, policy contracts, annual statements, and supplemental reports
  • Will participate in the actuarial student rotation program
