Opportunity

As an Execution Trader in BKLN’s Brooklyn, NY, office, you’ll be the main point of contact with our custodian partners, overseeing the trade execution and reconciliation process, primarily in public equities and crypto.

Responsibilities

Execute trading related tasks, including placing orders and order reconciliation
Act as a liaison and main point of contact with custodians
Develop and implement reconciliation processes
Be able to identify and remedy issues with execution of trades and data
Maintain current client knowledge and serve as a point of contact for trading and portfolio execution
Assist in preparing status, activity and performance reports for clients
Communicate client issues in a clear, concise manner to product team

Skills & Experience Core

Minimum of 2 years of experience in equities or crypto trading, or investment operations related to equities or crypto trading
Proficiency in FIX and Order Management Systems
Well versed in financial trading platforms like Schwab and Fidelity
Thrive in fast-paced environment with a high attention to detail
Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages is a plus
