Responsibilities
  • Open and close the branch daily; prepare employee schedules and workflows; monitor branch cash general ledger accounts and recap sheets to ensure balances remain within stated cash limits; and monitor and clear entries from the branch proof adjustment general ledger suspense account.
  • Ensure daily processing of customer transactions and branch capture, including mail deposits and night depository transactions.
  • Ensure proper internal controls and compliance with bank regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure branch employees properly handle confidential information, including passwords.
  • Balance the on-site automated teller machine and troubleshoot problems when the branch has one.
  • Ensure branch facilities are maintained by communicating needs to facility management.
  • Serve as security officer under the Branch Manager by preparing and conducting monthly security meetings and ensuring branch employees understand security equipment and procedures.
  • Mentor Universal Bankers and work with the Branch Manager to provide counseling when needed, including documentation and follow-up.
  • Work with the Branch Manager to deploy resources that optimize individual and team performance.
  • Assume the Branch Manager role when the Branch Manager is unavailable.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Third Coast Bancshares, Inc. announces sale of Third Coast Commercial Capital, Inc. assets. HOUSTON, July 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Third Coast Bancshares, Inc. (NYSE and NYSE Texas: TCBX), ("Third Coast" or the "Company"), the holding company of Third Coast Bank (the "Bank"), today announced that it closed the sale of substantially all of the assets of Third Coast Commercial Capital, Inc. ("TCCC"), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bank, to Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company ("Gulf Coast"), effective as of June 25, 2026. "This transaction represents an important step in the continued evolution of our balance sheet strategy," said Bart Caraway, Founder, Chairman, President and CEO of Third Coast. "The sale of our TCCC assets allows us to monetize the existing portfolio while maintaining a meaningful ongoing relationship with a strong, experienced partner.
