  • Enrollment in an approved program with the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) required
  • 0-1 years Introductory or Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience as a part of training program required
  • LPT - Licensed Pharmacy Tech State Pharmacy Technician Permit required
  • Strong understanding of pharmacology, therapeutics, and pharmacy practice standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Responsibilities
  • Assists pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications according to prescriptions and established protocols
  • Participates in medication reconciliation and assist in managing medication therapy for patients as required
  • Supports the maintenance of accurate inventory levels and assist with ordering and restocking medications
  • Collaborates with healthcare teams to gather medication histories and provide patient education under the supervision of a pharmacist
  • Performs routine checks on medication storage areas to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Participates in pharmacy rounds and assist with clinical activities as assigned
  • Maintains accurate documentation of all pharmacy-related activities and interventions
  • Engages in continuing education opportunities and contribute to departmental projects as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards
